This useful attachment is easily added to the Pro Hub Tool (17078, sold separately) allowing the derby car builder to correct flaws in the outer wheel hub.

  • Improves wheel-hub-to-axle-head contact which improves car's tracking
  • Improved tracking means more speed!
  • Shaver ensures accurate rotation by squaring the outer wheel hub to the wheel bore for proper mounting on the Pro Wheel Mandrel (also sold separately).

Details

The Pro Hub Shaver is a Specialty Tool made to cleanly remove any molding marks or other small flaws from the outer hub face of a Pinewood Derby Car Wheel in order to reduce friction. The Pro Wheel Shaver will perfectly remove the step from B.S.A. wheels, reducing friction and enhancing performance.
