Klymit is based out of Utah and was founded in 2007 when Nate Alder, Michael Albright, Ben Maughan, Nick Sorensen, and Brady Woolford competed in the 2008 Business Plan Competition. After months of hard competition, Nate and his team ultimately won first place and the $50,000 grand prize which they would use to start their company.

Klymit uses innovative body-mapping technology to make comfortable and easy-to-inflate sleeping pads, thereby making the outdoor slumber experience more enjoyable.
