

The Eagle Scout Rank is earned after completing the Eagle Scout Rank requirements and after earning the first six Scouts BSA ranks: Life Scout, Star Scout, First Class, Second Class, Tenderfoot and Scout rank. It is the last of the 7 possible ranks and the highest rank in Scouting. The ranks for Star, Life and Eagle focus on active participation, community service, leadership and merit badges. Scouts will have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10 years old OR are at least 11 years old OR have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old. Participants may continue to work on Scouting advancement until reaching their 18th birthday.
