The Arrow of Light badge of rank is for youth who are in 5th grade and transitioning into Scouts BSA.
The Arrow of Light handbook is written for the Cub Scout to explore and enjoy the six required and 16 elective Arrow of Light Adventures. The handbook also includes content to guide the youth into Scouts BSA with content on the first badge of rank in Scouts BSA, the Scout rank. Youth may not begin work on requirements for Scout rank until they have joined a Scouts BSA Troop. New in 2024 Arrow of Light has separate elective Adventure from Webelos.
