This pocket certificate is used to recognize Scouts who have earned their BSA Boardsailing Award.
After earning this award certificate, Scouts will be able to demonstrate the following:
• Precautions that should be taken for boardsailing on lakes, rivers, the ocean, or bay areas
• Hypothermia symptoms and methods of prevention
• How to properly rig and prepare a sailboard and explain the functions of various rigging
• How to steer a sailboard
• Sail a course that involves beating, reaching, and running
Single pocket certificate is printed front and back, and measures approximately 3 3/4" x 2 1/2".
