Cub Scout Uniforms for Den Leaders and Assistant Den Leaders
The uniforms for Scouts BSA and Cub Scout leaders are essentially the same, but to be as thorough as possible, we’ve listed out everything you need—whether you’re a Den Leader or Cubmaster. If you are a Pack Committee Chair or Pack Committee Member, the uniform is optional but still a great way to show your involvement in Scouting!
Cub Scout Uniforms Den Leaders, Den Leader Assistants, Cub Masters, and Assistant Cub Masters:
- Shirt - The official tan uniform shirt is available with long or short sleeves and has button-flap pockets. Den leaders wear blue shoulder loops. The Cub Scout Den Leader position patch is placed on the left sleeve.
- Pants - The official green shorts, long pants, skorts, and roll-up pants.
- Belt - Official green web belt with metal buckle, plain leather belt, or scout leather belt with Scout belt buckle.
- Socks - Official green socks are available in three lengths: ankle, crew, and knee.
- Hat - (Optional) If an adult chooses, they may wear any official Scouting America adult hat.
