We understand that getting a new uniform can be overwhelming, so we want to assist you by providing a brief overview to simplify the process. Our organization continuously updates and improves, and as of today, these are the available uniform choices for Cub Scouts. Your leaders are always available to answer any additional questions you may have as you embark on this year's Scouting activities. 

As of 2024, we have added options for girl Cub Scouts, namely the skort and roll-up pants (pants that convert to capris), and updated the shorts to a lightweight performance fabric.

• Skorts: a dressier option made of soft twill fabric that looks great at ceremonies and Pack meetings.
• Roll-Up Pants: versatile performance fabric for outdoor adventures, fall and winter Scouting events, and weekend trips. They also look great for the ceremonial dress!
• Switchback Pants: These are also made from a versatile performance fabric, making these classic Scouting pants great for all of your adventures, camping trips, and ceremonies.
• Shorts are perfect for warm-to-cool-weather outdoor adventures and camping trips! If you’re in the South, especially where it’s warm year-round, this is your most valued uniform piece. It's durable, amphibious, sharp-looking, and a perfect fit!

In a nutshell, the Cub Scouts uniform consists of the top, bottom, belt, cap, socks, neckerchief, neckerchief slide, and patches. For patches, you need the Council Shoulder Patch or CSP (denotes which council you are a part of), the World Crest Emblem and Ring, Unit, and Den Numerals. These are available for purchase. The rest is earned. Your leaders can guide you on where to place the uniform or check out placement instructions here.
