For young youngsters who want to follow their parents' lead, the Brave® is the ideal first bow. With a 26" axle-to-axle and a continuous 25 lb. peak draw weight, the Brave is suggested for ages eight to twelve. The Brave features a brace height of 5.5" and a continuous draw length of up to 19.5 inches. There is a 65% let-off. With two SafetyglassTM arrows, an armguard, arrow quiver, 1-pin sight, and the safest arrow rest in the archery industry (worth $40), the Brave Youth Bow Set is ready to shoot out of the box.
The Brave should only be used with the right hand. It's never too early to introduce the upcoming archers to Bear.
